About me
I have a lifelong love for Israel, it’s nature, culture and heritage which started as a teenager where I spent 6 months tracking tigers in the Judean Desert. I continued my interest even during my national service where I served as an education and land studies officer which evolved into me studying ( and passing with distinction) a BA in Land of Israel Studies at Bar-Ilan University.
My life took a different turn in my early thirties and, for personal reasons, I changed course to study ceramics and whilst I still run ceramic workshops at my home studio in Zohar ( which you are more than welcome to visit at www.amramstudio.co.il), I returned to professional guiding in 2015. At that time I co-founded a hiking group for the visually impaired and we have completed a wide variety of challenging trail hikes across Israel and beyond its borders. I am dual qualified as a tour guide in both ivrit/ modern Hebrew as well as English.
Today, with my deep knowledge, experience, and joy I’m happy to guide whoever is interested in knowing and learning more about our country, to be introduced to new cultures and religions, meet authentic and inspiring people, learn history, archeology, ancient cities, or just enjoy the beautiful nature that Israel has to offer.
I guide groups and individuals, adjusting the tour and myself to the preferences of my
clients.

The Land of Israel is a transition between two great civilizations, distant continents, therefore it is a climatic, ecological, botanical and zoological, cultural and religious meeting. It is blessed with a wide variety of amazing landscapes, an abundance of vegetation and water. Therefore, every trip brings us together with fascinating experiences
And as Dr. Seuss wrote: "When you go out you come to wonderful
places", and through the nature walks you can also get to know the
history, atmosphere and archeology of AI.
City tours are in-depth tours throughout the country. With rich guidance, we can discover fascinating sites even in the city where we live. Interesting people, and urban nature that is close to us reveal hidden treasures that we did not notice.
Among others, we can have religious and art tours in Old Jaffa, follow Tel Aviv streets stories, a tour of religions and beliefs in Jerusalem, a historical tour in Nazareth and more.
The Land of Israel unites the three great monotheistic religions:
Judaism, Christianity, Islam, along with other religions, denominations and beliefs that split from them. All together they create a complex and interesting collage.
In all the years of my research and study, I have discovered that basically they all talk about the same basic values of kindness, love, honesty and compassion while each has their own expression, in the way of their faith. The faith expressions have changed throughout history. There were times when the believers distanced themselves from the origins, like in the Crusader period.
Some are trying to return to the origins, study them and perform adaptations for the current days. The historic processes, The Jewish and Muslim mysticism, the intermingling of the Messianic Jews, and the many beliefs developed are fascinating subjects to explore, especially through meeting religious people and believers.
These trips open us up to getting to know the other, the different communities
that make up this colorful collage in Israel, finding the common values to us all. The variety is rich.
There are tours that focus on a certain religion, a certain denomination, and some that combine the collage of religions.
A trip is a wonderful way to celebrate an event. For closed group events, you can create and adjust a plan and content relevant to the group.
I organize the entire operation related to the trip and the event, based on my extensive experience over the years as a tour guide.
In addition, you can order thank you gifts or special gifts for the celebrant and/or the guests, with a personal dedication that I prepare in my studio before the event.

Brilliant tour guide offers trip of a lifetime!
From the moment we met Anat, we were in awe of her passion for and extensive knowledge of the land of Israel and the Bible. She was full of energy every day and was genuinely happy when we expressed what an amazing time we were having with her. On top of her knowledge of every detail of the state and history, Anat is incredibly warm, genuine, and fun! When our days together were over, we (not without tears) said goodbye, knew we were so lucky to have found Anat and know we made a true friend in Israel. Our paths will definitely cross again.
